History: PAKLOOK Air, Inc.

Howard Holman and Terry Cratty started PAKLOOK Air Inc. in the spring of 2003 with a single Cessna 207 offering on demand charters in the Kodiak Island Area. The “Green Hornet”, as it was known around the island, was well received by the local villagers and travelers. Terry manned the controls while Howard took care of the ground operations. Wes Osowski joined the company in September 2004 with the addition of our multi-engine fleet. As a result, we are now the only operator based on Kodiak Island with aircraft and flight crew qualified to fly under instrument flight rules.

While building their customer base during the first year, there was a noticeable desire from the passengers for a scheduled service. Based on their customer’s desires of a scheduled service, Howard and Terry acquired Servant Air, Inc., which was based in Fairbanks Alaska. Servant Air Inc. is certified for scheduled services as well as transportation of the US mail throughout the state of Alaska. The company was relocated to Kodiak after being acquired to meet the needs of the Kodiak Island villages.

About the Operators:

Terry is a Kodiak Area native born and raised on Kodiak Island. He is a second-generation aviator who started flying as a teenager in Grumman Gooses and Widgeons and various other single engine and multi-engine aircraft. Logging over 17,000 hours flying in Kodiak Island and the State of Alaska (yes – that was 17,000 hours!), he prides himself on safety first.

Wes Osowski brings a variety of experience and knowledge to the company, not only in the aviation field, but all facets of the company. Also a lifelong Alaskan, Wes is a commercial pilot and certified aircraft mechanic (IA). His passion for aviation started at an early age, earning his private pilot's licence at the ripe age of 17!
