AHKIOK

Akhiok is located approximately 90 air miles from Kodiak City, on the southern tip of Kodiak Island. The population is approximately 50. Depending the aircraft, the trip takes between 30 – 45 minutes.

Know Before You Go:

The village is located approximately ½ mile from the airport. You can walk to the community from the airstrip. There is no facility or communications at the airport, so it is necessary to have prearranged ground transportation before arriving.
