OLD HARBOR

Old Harbor is located approximately 55 air miles from Kodiak City, on the southeast side of Kodiak Island. The population is approximately 240. Depending the aircraft, the trip takes between 25 – 30 minutes.

Know Before You Go:

The community is divided into two areas; “Downtown” (old village), and “Uptown”. The airport is located about a mile from “Uptown” in the village and you can walk about ½ mile to get to the community store when it is open. There is no facility or communications at the airport, so it is necessary to have prearranged ground transportation before arriving.
